Expo Site

FI2011 will be centred on the Rotorua Energy Events Centre, a modern venue built in 2007 in the picturesque Government Gardens, within a few minutes’ walk from many of the city’s hotels and motels.

The Energy Events Centre is one of New Zealand’s largest venues, with four large display and event rooms plus extensive paved and unpaved outdoor areas and ample parking nearby. The combined complex is capable of housing up to 500 standard trade exhibition booths indoors.

In addition the complex has six break-out rooms for the FI2011 Tech Clinics. Many of these can be opened up to prove space for the FI2011 conference.

The NZ Forest Industries Expo is designed as a forestry and timber sector showcase and includes a Symposium, static and working demonstrations of forest and timber industry products and services. The Expo is staged over 4 days every four years since 1990.

Indoor sites in the Energy Events Centre are 3 x 3m
Open Air sites in the Energy Events Centre Car Park are 15 x 15m or 10 x 10m
Demonstration area sites are 12 x 24m
